Policies
Policies, in plain words
One page, so nothing is in the fine print.
Keys, codes and alarms
A lockbox, or a named person who lets us in. We write a code on our schedule for this job only and delete it when the job closes. We set or clear an alarm only on your written instructions.
If something is missed
Tell us within two business days of the reveal date, with a photo if you can. We come back to the item at no charge. It applies to items on the written scope.
If something is broken or missing
Tell us the same day if you can. We photograph the starting condition at the walkthrough, so we can compare. We carry general liability insurance, and a certificate is sent on request.
Rescheduling and lockouts
Reveal dates move. Tell us two business days before and we move the crew without charge. After that, or if we arrive and cannot get in, the deposit covers the crew's time.
Photos
Photos go only to the person who booked us and anyone they name. We don't post a project's photos anywhere without the written okay of its owner and designer.
What we do not do
Repairs, sealing and painting. Bulk debris. Lifts, scaffolds and roofs. Lead, asbestos and mold. Each is a different trade, and we will say who to call.
About these policies
Who has the key while you are in?
The crew leader, for that day. A lockbox stays with you.
Can I change the date after I pay the deposit?
Yes, with two business days' notice. The scope and the deposit carry over.
What if you break something?
Tell us the same day. We compare with our walkthrough photos and send our insurance details.
Questions before you send the list?
Call us, or send the punch list and we will answer in writing.
We reply by the end of the next business day.
